This tea takes its name from the mountain where it’s grown—Dong Ding Mountain, which translates to "Frozen Peak" in English. Rising to an elevation of over 1,000 meters above sea level, the mountain's climate and terrain make it ideal for cultivating exceptional oolong tea.
According to legend, the mountain receives such heavy rainfall that climbing it can be treacherous. Tea growers had to ascend with great care, their cautious steps likened to walking with “frozen toes.” This imagery inspired the name Dong Ding, or “Frozen Peak.”
The resulting tea is as rich in story as it is in flavor. Its liquor is a clear, honey-yellow hue with a toasty, caramel-like depth, balanced by a smooth floral sweetness. It’s the kind of brew that feels both comforting and energizing.
Whether you're a devoted tea enthusiast or simply exploring new flavors, Dong Ding Oolong delivers an easygoing, refined experience. Give it a try—your taste buds will thank you.
