Taiwan Tea No. 12, also known as Jin Xuan, is a cultivar developed by the Taiwan Tea Research and Extension Station in 1981. While it’s versatile enough for crafting Baozhong or Black Tea, Jin Xuan is most celebrated as an Oolong Tea.
Renowned for its naturally creamy, milky aroma complemented by subtle floral notes, Jin Xuan is incredibly smooth and easy to enjoy. We’ve amped up the natural milky notes of traditional Jin Xuan oolong, creating a tea that’s bold enough to stand out in your favorite milk tea or pair perfectly with boba.

Brewing Tips
🌿 Gongfu Style
* 5g to 100-150ml, 100°C water
* steep 20–30 sec
* pour to serve
* Increase steeping time by 10s with every subsequent brew
* rebrew up to 6 times.
🍵 Western Teapot
* 3g per 250ml, 100°C water
* Steep 3–4 min, rebrew 2–3 times
❄️ Cold Brew
* 5–8g per 1L of cold water
* allow to steep for at least 30 minutes
